Dahshour is one of the most important area of Memphis's cemeteries 

and is one of many vast necropoleis located in the great Ancient Egypt 

capital. Located about 30Km south of the Giza pyramids, and in the southern of Saqqara , 

Dahshour area contains pyramids of the fourth Dynasties. 

 the great King Snefru (2680-2656 B.C), the founder of the  fourth Dynasty, was the first king who chose  Dahshur site to build his tomb in this royal area, as it was close to the capital in ancient Egypt , memphies

 At this area you will find the Pyramid of Amenemhat II  , and the Pyramid of Amenemhat III 

And one of the famous kings in Egypt his name “ snefru “ who’s built his pyramid at this area which we call it 

the Black Pyramid. Or the red pyramid  

In fact, 


I will tell you too this pyramids at Dahshur it’s represented old Egyptian kingdom or ancient Egypt. Also places like the Giza Plateau is the great tourist area , Dahshour is something great area can explain for us more  an amazing secret , and telling us great and an incredible stories of Ancient Egyptian History.

At Dahshour area we can see an amazing two pyramids we can’t talking about it shortly time because Their are many things or words experience we need to know about it one of them which we call it 

 

1-The Bent Pyramid

54°27′44″ below bend; 43°22′ above bend

 It’s located at the royal necropolis of Dahshur, approximately 40 kilometres south of Cairo, built under the Old Kingdom Pharaoh Sneferu. A unique example of early pyramid to build in Egypt, this pyramid was the second pyramid built by Sneferu


2-The Red Pyramid 

Or the black pyramid 

Height: 104 m

also called the North Pyramid, is the largest of the three major pyramids located at the Dahshur necropolis in Cairo, Egypt. His Named its came from his stone which already it’s consistent of it and built from it  red limestone stones, it is also the third largest Egyptian pyramid, after those of Khufu and Khafra at Giza.


And at Dahshour cemetery we can find more pyramids or ather pyramids
